Above Ground Pool
Cleaners
The best time to purchase an above ground
pool cleaner is when you purchase your above ground swimming
pool as a kit. When purchasing a kit you can be assured to get
everything you need, that it all works together along with
getting a good price.
This is not always possible, of course, and
at times you may need to purchase a new automatic cleaner for
your above ground pool.
Automatic cleaners come in 3 main types:
Robotic swimming pool cleaners.
These are the "cadillacs" of cleaners. They work
on their own, cleaning your pool until it is "spot less". These
cleaners come with a hefty price tag.
Suction Side Above Ground
Cleaners
These are usually the least expewnsive of the pool cleaners.
This cleaner will be attached to one of the suction ports in
your pool. It will move about your pool in a random pattern,
eventually cleaning every piece of debris from your pool. Large
pieces of debris will be deposited into the striner basket, the
rest ends up in the filter of your pool.
These cleaners have almost no moving parts,
ensuring a long trouble free life.
Pressure Side Above Ground Pool
Cleaners
This type of cleaner is attached to your pool's plumbing
system. This cleaner is more technical, has more parts, (read-
more problems) and uses filter bags to catch the debris. These
automated cleaners are a bit more costly than the suction side
types, but they do a great job and are worth the extra
expenditure.
Above ground pool cleaners can be purchased
online from several trusted sites.
